great day

I'm still very tired, with the toothache issues (almost past) and the computer worries causing sleeplessness, so I was fully expecting Sunday to be a not-so-great day. I just hate dragging myself through the day. I didn't really feel like going to church, but I did. Tom was preaching, and he is just such an up person, you can't help but feel better when you're finished there.

After lunch, I caught the Designer's Studio chat with Ash, then the kids and I sat together to watch National Treasure (again LOL). Caleb and Josiah were pretty tired, as they had camped out in the backyard with Michael Saturday night (at Michael's house, not here, thank goodness!) We hadn't got far into the movie, when Ena phoned to see if she and Peter could come for a cuppa, and bring the girls (their grand-daughters) to play with our girls. They came with several bags of produce from their garden, and some jars of jam and sauce and salsa that Ena had made. Yummy!

So, how is this for a fantastic dinner? Zucchini slice (made with Ena's zucchinis and our own eggs), fresh beans and silverbeet from their garden, mashed spuds and carrots (sadly from the supermarket). Pretty good living.

Looking forward to some scrapbooking with all my new goodies - so many sales at the weekend!

OH yum!!! That sounds like a great dinner!
Glad your teeth are feeling better today - horrid things when they are hurting.
