lazy Sunday

We had a glorious winter's day here. There was a slight frost overnight, and lots of mist in the valleys, but once the sun came out it was amazing. After Church, I sat in the sun for a couple of hours and read my first Patricia Cornwell book - The Body Farm (thanks for the recommendation, Trish). Now I have to wait for a few more to come in at the local library. I had a snooze on the couch while the kids chatted with their cousins via webcam - gotta love modern technology, and no long-distance call rates. I had sweet and sour beef cooking in the crockpot all day (boy, it made the house smell yum all day!), so dinner was super easy.

Heading for an early bedtime - doing nothing all day is exhausting!
