scrappin' with Trish
Yep, the Monday night session with Trish. Lots of yackin' and a bit of scrappin'. Trish was on a roll, scrapping her sister's wedding album, she produced two double-page layouts and was working on the next when I quit just before midnight. She chose for us to scraplift a layout by Mellette Berezoski (page 138, A Designer's Eye for Scrapbooking, Ali Edwards). I find when I'm scraplifting at the moment, I can't really get beyond a direct copy most times, even colour choice tends to be close to the original. Still, saves me having to think too much about what I'm doing, and I come up with a good layout. These are some photos of my youngest, taken by my eldest daughter (she's 12) - I think most of the time the kids mess about with the camera more than I do. Nevertheless, I get photos of them, so that's good too. All bits from Trish's Eclectic Mix cd, font is dominican.

It is incredibly windy again today, the wind has been roaring around the house for the past few days, a little bit of rain, very cold. The kids tend to go a bit crazy in the wind, they've been chasing each other outside for hours, and come inside all blowsy and flushed. Caleb is almost over his cough, but Noah is still coughing a lot, and Kate has been feeling poorly since the weekend, and coughing too. My cough is still hanging on too. Sigh.
