I've started reading Pride and Prejudice to Kate. She has watched the BBC videos (starring Colin Firth) a couple of times this past year, and really enjoyed it. I guess I would have rather had her read the book herself before she saw the movie adaptation, but I'm glad that she wants to hear the book nevertheless. My biggest problem is avoiding doing the voice of Mrs Bennett as it is in the movie. Oh, Mr Bennett!! Here's to the nurture of another Jane Austen fan!
