one fine day

I am such a mean Mum! I confiscated the Gameboy and the computer power cord today, and made my kids find other amusement! Shock! Horror! It was a beautiful day. And when they got their act together, there was an ah-ha moment when I realised they were out the front, all of them, having a game of 'cricket', family style. I could hardly believe they organised this themselves, and managed to play together so well for so long! Everyone got a turn at bat, and Kate and Josiah took turns 'bowling' so that even the little boys got a feel for watching and actually hitting the ball. Proud Mummy moment.



Off to Sale tomorrow morning, yuck yuck yuck! I hate making this drive, but the service that usually comes to Yarram on Tuesday mornings, isn't for a couple of weeks, and I need these tests done to try to find out why my blood pressure is so high. And can you picture me having an ultrasound at Sale hospital with six kids in the room? (which would put most people's bp off the chart LOL) Gonna be an interesting exercise. Not looking forward to it, but hopefully we can have a play at the playground, feed the ducks, see the swans, and do some shopping, to make the trip worthwhile.
