a redback on the toilet seat

well, not quite, but fortunately I noticed this monster before I planted myself - seriously, the brute was an inch-and-a-half long! I don't even want to think about what a bite on the butt from a white-tail would do to you. He's feeling a little flushed now (wonder if he can swim?)

now that song is going around in my head . . .

We haven't been up to very much, it's been pretty warm the past few days, so just homeschool, housework and a bit of scrapping. The hairdresser is coming tomorrow (we have one who comes to the house, sure beats sitting in a salon for an hour or two to get through this lot). Ray is very shaggy, and the grey shows badly in his beard when it gets long, the boys are all ready for a trim, and Grace and I need damaged ends cut off too.

I scrapped the February page for the It's a Chick's Life workshop at the DigiChick. I still didn't take enough photos this month, or maybe we just didn't do enough interesting stuff.

Eeeew you have those too huh? We've had a total influx of them this summer, they freak me out totally. I have the heebbebie jeebebies just looking at him!

Great February layout - what a fantastic thing your album will be when you get them all done for a whole year. Really should get off my back-end and do it too!
