The children and I walked up the hill to check our due-to-calve-any-day cows early this afternoon, and I took the camera to get a photo from the top of the hill. We have certainly been enjoying this amazing winter weather while we can - although the nights are cold and frosty, the days are sunny and glorious. With an outlook like this, I hope you can understand why I love it here. There is almost complete silence, only the faint sounds of tiny grassland birds and the cattle tearing grass, the slightest breeze, and a warm-air smell. Incredible colours. No mechanical sounds, no car noise, nothing. Bliss.
