fun Saturday
Still coughing and very crabby today - I think being slightly unwell is just wearing me down.
Had a fun Friday evening trying to catch up with Trish to scrap via msn - we had just got started when her Dad arrived for a visit (with pizza - Dad won!). Trish chose a layout from Ali Edwards' book, and we both did a scraplifted layout - worked out really well, and fun to have someone to chat with while scrapping.
Then today Trish had a chat at RAKscraps to promote her cd, and it was a blast! There were 80 people in the room, and lots of new digi-scrappers who hadn't seen her stuff before. Trish did an awesome job, and made a great effort to answer all the questions people asked, which wasn't easy, with the chat moving so fast. She gave away a few kits, and there is a cd up for grabs for someone who posts a layout in the gallery using the minty papers she made for everyone who came to the crop. It was a hoot!
And I even got in a spot of shopping. Dawn Stockstill has all her stuff on sale, so I picked up an older kit of hers that I've had my eye on for a while, forget-me-not.
And her new paper pack, Sea Breeze (which she has renamed, due to another designer at SBB releasing a kit with the same name! I got mine before the name-change LOL)
And I just had to buy Trish's new kit, Infinity. These are awesome colours and the papers are just amazing. Lots of goodies here! Of course, Trish called me the most unmentionable names (she hates when I buy her stuff - go figure!). Love ya, babe!
Late this afternoon I got an email from one of the Aussie online stores, so popped over and ordered a paper pack and Designing With Stamping, at 25% off, who could resist? I sure hope there's a bit left in the kitty for shopping on Sunday night at Designer Digitals.

Friday night scrapping with Deb was fun, except I did indeed ditch her for pizza LOL. We are turning this into a weekly event on Monday nights, its heaps of fun. Deb's turn to choose a layout this time :D
Love the kits you chose this week so far to buy my girl, well most of them -insert stern look-
