overwhelmed

Ray's folks phoned Friday evening and said they would like to come visit for a few days, so our weekend disappeared pretty quickly. Ray's Dad likes to come do stuff around the farm - they are outside working on some fencing today, digging in new posts and replacing barbed wire. We had lunch with Dutchy and Kerry after church yesterday (Ray works for Dutchy) and our girls had a great time playing with their little girls. Feeling a little tired today.

I am feeling a little overwhelmed lately by the bombardment of new digital designers and stores coming through my inbox. I have actually unsubbed from a couple of Yahoo groups, simply to cut down on the (sorry to say) crap that was coming through. I delete most of the emails without even reading them, unless it is from a designer or store that I already know and respect. There is some truly awful stuff being flogged out there! And there has been an overload of July 4th kits and crops, so I'm feeling a little disenfranchised too. I'm probably a bit cranky because there wasn't anything new that tempted me to do damage to the credit card this weekend. Just my little rant.
