the best-laid plans

Well, we didn't go to Sale after all. The kids still have colds, but Kate has been really unwell today, after a really unsettled night, so I changed the appointment - they will be in Yarram next week, after all, so that will be way more convenient than trooping up to Sale anyway. Will consider the doctor for her tomorrow, her throat is pretty sore, and she is losing her voice.

We just had the most amazing rainstorm - it came down so heavy that water was pouring into the tank and pouring over the gutters all around the house. It's still raining, thunder, just waiting for the power to go out!

And sad to hear that Don Adams, Agent 86, has died. I never watched Get Smart as a kid, but came to appreciate it through Ray's insistence after we were married. And of course, the kids loved Inspector Gadget too. Thanks for the laughs.
