cold and wet

Very odd and changeable weather, but the rain is wonderful for the pasture. We had almost an inch overnight, which is just so good at this time of year! Today was actually cold enough to warrant a jumper, and poor Josiah is feeling miserable with a headcold.

At quarter to seven this morning (I didn't go for a walk cos it was still raining), Isaiah came and asked very nicely for 'play-toh'. The kids went to an Advent activity at the church in town, and made advent wreaths, complete with candles and greenery, formed into playdoh! So of course, it was time to make some to play with at home. I just didn't expect to have to do it before breakfast. Still, it was the perfect day for it, given they couldn't play outside, and it kept them amused for hours.

I made it to a chat this afternoon, a scraplift (of course, my favourite), and made a layout with the papers provided by Kim Hill (alpha and stitching by Gina Cabrera), and used the font for this week's font challenge at SBB (two birds with one stone, eh?). I chose to scraplift a layout by Sasbok, I love her style! Check out some of her pages here.
