a good weekend
I got lots of scrapping done, and lots of Christmas related jobs too. I finally got those Christmas cakes baked, they smell so good. I edited, retouched, and restored a batch of photos for Ray's Mum for Christmas (old family photos that I scanned from her sister's collection), and sent them off to an online developer (cheapest for enlargements and excellent quality). I made a Christmas postcard that is going out instead of the planned hand-made cards (big fat thanks to Australia Post). I did a black and white version which I really liked, but decided that most of our friends and family wouldn't understand it LOL. So if you aren't expecting one in the mail, you can see it here (friends and family - no peaking!)
I got lots of great Christmas photos of the kids, even Caleb happily co-operated, and gave me lots of cheesy grins. Isaiah is at a funny stage, he generally won't smile for the camera, unless it is a totally forced and faked smile. Noah is smiling a bit self-consciously through his new front teeth, and Josiah can't look at the camera without laughing - I'm trying to work out exactly what is so hilarious about my camera.
I did some more of my Christmas series of layouts, I have some nice photos of the kids in pairs that I will scrap too, and I have an idea about what to do to present these, but not saying anything here yet in case I spoil something for someone, ya know. Here are the next four layouts:

papers from Trish Jones' Eclectic Christmas (I cut and pieced the trees from the same papers), date stamp doodle from DDE Team Doodles week 2(freebie) by Margarete Antonio. Inked edges created with Atomic Cupcake PSE3 action, font is texas hero

papers from Trish Jones' Eclectic Christmas, heart doodle from DDE Team Doodles week 1(freebie) by Jenna Beam, ribbon elements and swirly doodle by Taran Conyers (newsletter freebie, Scrapbook-Elements). Inked edges created with Atomic Cupcake PSE3 action, font is texas hero

papers, gift stamps, staples from Trish Jones' Eclectic Christmas, I created the circle word-art myself, inked edges created with Atomic Cupcake PSE3 action, font is texas hero

papers from Trish Jones' Eclectic Christmas, circle stamp from Dani Mogstad's Santa Baby crop freebie (date added by me), holly doodle by Holly McCaig (freebie, I used it as a template to cut some of Trish's papers to fit), inked edges created with Atomic Cupcake PSE3 action, font is texas hero
So you see, it was a good weekend, I'm glad to be feeling creative at last.
