ants again
UGGHH!!!
Kate went to the shelf to get a box of stamps, she is crafting something for her Aunty Melissa's birthday next week, and found the craft boxes swarming with ants. I have never seen anything like it. An hour and a half later, we have moved everything off the shelves, spraying flyspray and wiping down the boxes, wiping down the craft books and scrapbooking magazines, and wiping down every page in four scrapbooks which were on the left of the shelves too. Josiah is finishing the vacuuming in the room now. The pile of dead ants on the carpet was half an inch deep! Truly icky!
update 8pm Okay this is seriously not good. It took me another hour to go through the three Creative Memories albums that were badly effected by the ants and get all those little boogers out, and far too many have left squish-ick behind on the pages. The side-loading page protectors let dozens of ants onto the photos and paper, and many of the pages in the three albums have marks on them. I am so upset. There are still ants coming out of somewhere, so I won't put stuff back on the shelves until they stop coming. I am going to have to get some shelves made in the study for the albums, as this area is obviously too attractive to pests (this is the same shelf where the dead mice have been.) I don't like ants today.

wow! thats a whole lotta ants........ick! We get ants ocassionally - but no where near as many as that.
Oh Deb! I am so sorry girl, stupid dumb things they are. I feel your pain girl.
