tomorrow
Tomorrow is the biggest part of my involvement with the Arts Festival, the scrapbooking classes in the park. I am pretty stressed about it all, I don't like being up-front of people, so I just hope it goes well, that somebody shows up to do my classes, and that they will be happy with what we do. This is the sketch I plan to give attendees to work with (I have made up basic kits to work with), and I've made a couple of simple layouts with this sketch as samples to put up on the wall (I even hand journalled on them!!)

I have been up and back to the hall several times, running around for different bits and pieces, and much more involved in all this than I intended. I am afraid I'm expected to be in attendance at the hall much more than I can (with children in tow!), so I am gonna be glad when this is all over. I knew there were good reasons for not volunteering in the first place!
I saw on somebody's blog that they were keeping a tally of their walking, so I did some sums of my own while out walking this morning. I have walked 20 out of the past 21 days (only missed one!), with an average of 2.5km per day, so that is 50 km!! I never would have dreamed of walking that far! On the down side, my bp at today's check is still 150/90, so no visible improvement there yet.
I scrapped this simple layout yesterday, I am loving the gorgeous wordart elements in Trish's Design Collection sets (I will try hard to actually use the papers next time LOL) I just couldn't add to this, it demanded simplicity.

And I managed to scrap this morning before the madness began (seeing as I was back from my walk by 6.30am!!) I don't know that I am happy with the title section, might give it some more thought. These photos are just so typically Caleb - he's going through another dont-take-my-photo stage, and just wasn't co-operating with me at all, but in a good-natured clowning kind of way. (papers from Trish's Design Collection Fresh Dreams)
Nothing else much is happening, as I am so consumed by this Festival. I'll be glad when the long weekend is over, and things can get back to normal. I miss my cyber-buddies.
