gst d-day
So the kids got crafty yesterday afternoon while it rained (we had another half-inch, very much appreciated!). The boys painted placemats, and Grace made a mini-accordian album to give to Grandma for Christmas.

I managed to scrap a layout for the scraplift challenge at DigiscrapDivas while they crafted, using this layout of Heidi's, and Jasbeanie's Green Day papers (and I took the photos of Grace just for the layout, so that's all good).
And I brought this critter home from my walk to take a photo, cos it was so incredibly yellow. Almost like a worm, but it definitely had a 'head' end and its underbelly was a paler yellow, and it left a slug-like trail too! Ray thought it might be a leach, but it didn't seem interested in latching onto me when I carried it home, and I couldn't see an obvious mouth. Any ideas?
The next task is to enter the last quarter's accounts and prepare the GST papers - this is must do today, so I can send it off Monday - why do I always leave it till the last possible moment (probably because I hate the job so much!) Nothing else till it's done, then I can buy myself a goodie and scrap this afternoon - that's my reward, which makes me cheaper than the accountant, who charged $135 to make an adjustment and prepare a mini gst report a couple weeks back yikes!!

The scrappy stuff looks fabulous (talented kiddos you have)! That yellow thing is weird! Never seen anything like that at all. WEIRD!
