catching my breath
I am sooooo tired. I am still walking in the mornings, but it is hard to get out of bed when the alarm goes off, ya know? I guess I would be more motivated if I was managing to lose weight too, but I just get so cranky when I am hungry, it's hard!
Grace had an ok kinda birthday, but I think her day was a bit flat after so much activity over the weekend. She originally didn't want to go anywhere (they can choose a low-key outing on their birthday if they wish), but mid-morning she asked if we could go to the playground, so we did. They played for almost an hour, then we tried to get a group photo to send out with our christmas cards.
I love this idea, but it didn't quite work, as the sun was too bright and bothered Grace too much (she really has a thing about the sun in her eyes) - definitely gonna try this again, as it is just a fun shot!

Couldn't get the other 2 boys into this one, but it worked well, and I can still scrap these, right?

I'll probably send this one, if I can't get another heads-on-the-ground photo, even though this one took some editing in PSP - do you know how hard it is to get SIX kids looking at the camera and smiling at the same instant?

Grace ordered pizza for her birthday dinner, you wouldn't believe how much food this little girl can put away! She definitely has her daddy's metabolism! I didn't get a good photo of her with her (very crummy, sorry honey) cake, I really struggle with these kind of photos. So this one is manipulated to the nth degree, but still doesn't look very good - really had to blur out the world map on the wall behind her!

And I finally managed to scrap late yesterday, using some of the group photos, and a sketch by Bree Clarkson for a Digiscrap Divas challenge. Hopefully there will be more scrapping time for me soon.

edge overlay by Michelle Coleman, "fun" done with Nancie Janitz-Rowe's shmootzy alpha brushes (both at Scrapartist), torn edge is an overlay by Steph730 in the download section at SBB, papers from Falling For You freebie by Ali Folendore & Dawn Stocstill (on the homepage of SBB), font is SP-Purkage
