soooo sad
Our little koala friend died. The boys just now found his body, under the teatree on the track up to the chook pen, not very far from where he was on Sunday night. I phoned Ray, and he will bury him tonight. I'm so sad, these little guys are so precious and not so numerous that we can be careless about them. So now we know, if we see another in distress like that, we will make more effort to help.

Sorry to hear about your Koala friend. That's the hardest part about living close to wildlife, you witness the deaths as well as the lives.

Oh, Deb, that's so sad... sorry to hear it. The heat took it's toll everywhere I think.

BTW I think that billboard would make a good blinkie. LOL
Don't be too hard on yourself, Deb! I don't think there was any more you could have done. You even got the koala lady out to see him; I think that is above and beyond what most other people would have done for him!

Awwww, this IS sad news! I have enjoyed reading about the Koalas here and love all things furry. I bet you're a great hs'ing mom, Deb. Your kidders may not tell you that now, but someday they will. :)
