chatting and scrapping
. . . and winning! I made it to the SBB Early Morning Show last night (it starts at 10.30pm for me) - Laurie usually hosts, but Becki did this week, as part of the 3rd birthday celebrations at Scrapbook-Bytes. So I managed to scrap, and win the first trivia prize, which was a $10 gift voucher for Meredith Fenwick stuff in the store. So that was totally fabulous, seeing as how I like her designs so much! I normally don't do at all well with trivia, but got this one easy-as-pie: what is the surname of the founder and owner of the site? Yay for Amy Edwards! I should know that, seeing as I've been at the site for over two years.
This is what I chose (downloaded this morning, safely stashed on my hard-drive).
True Colors - Admiral papers

True Colors - Grass Roots papers

Reflections - Make Me Believe papers

Reflections - Make Me Believe elements

And I scrapped the inspiration Becki provided (3 of something on a layout - I managed the 3 photos), combining it with the Ad/web inspiration challenge at Scrapartist (I love it when I can put stuff together like that LOL). I'm not gonna mention that it was almost 1am before I got to bed.

papers from Trish Jones' Footloose pack, fonts are SnapITC and SP Toby Unleashed
It is stinking hot here today, Ray is working up in the valley (no Australia Day holiday for Telstra contractors! don't even get me started on what I think of that bloody corporation), but hopefully will be home earlier than usual, as he started an hour early today to try to avoid some heat. I'm frantically trying to get the kids' homeschool stuff organised to start next week, and they want to go to the pool this afternoon too. Also trying to get set to go to Dad's tomorrow (for the weekend). We are taking the kids to see Narnia on the way tomorrow. And it's scrapping in town tonight too. Better get my butt into gear!

You are going to absolutely love Narnia!
Wow, that's an exciting night for you!! Congrats on the win, and I love what you bought... i have the True colours collection, and have been eyeing off My reflections for ages.. lol.
Great layout too, I can't believe it's got 3 photos on there, it still seems so well spaced out and open!
Yay! Congratulations Deb! I'm glad you won! And Becki will be hosting the early MS for awhile as she and I switched due to my class schedule. SO I will be hosting the Later MS on Thurs, 10-11amEST-I can't remember if that's any better for you or not. I'm awful with the whole time-zone thing! Good luck organizing your homeschool stuff! Ugh- I would often start out pretty organized, but my system never lasted much longer than a few weeks. And I loved your Koala photo! And I agree with Brenda- Narnia is soooo awesome. You will just fall in love with little Lucy and Mr. Timnus.
Hugs Girlfriend! Laurie
