rainy day

Well, after getting sunburnt yesterday at the pool, today we spent the 3 hours we were at the pool trying to stay out of the rain. Funny thing, there was just nobody at the pool who wasn't there for Vicswim lessons! Isaiah whined and grizzled the whole time because I wouldn't let him go in the pool, and the rest of us were just bored. We are sure hoping for better swimming weather tomorrow.

But we are not complaining about the rain! we had over half-an-inch overnight, and a little bit more today, which is only good for the paddocks. Ray was grumbling that he would have emptied and cleaned the tank if he'd known there was rain on the way - all that beautiful rainwater is just mixing with the algae-water in our tank, and will have to be drained away (sigh).

And instead of scrapping (I have the worst block at the moment, I don't even feel the slightest inclination to start a layout or even choose photos!) - I had this kit in my head and it just had to be put together. I have sent it to Amy at ScrapbookBytes, so I hope she will put it in the downloads area real soon. And I already have another kit in my head! I gotta go with the flow, the inspiration will probably disappear real soon and I won't create anything for months and month - but maybe I will be able to scrap some layouts instead (here's hoping). Stay tuned for Bouquets (and the compression for web-viewing really makes this look bloody awful, it really is very nice - truly ruly).

edited to add - you can download it here. Please leave a comment to let me know you like it.

And yes, I have done a teensy bit of shopping for digiscrapping stuff, I just need to get inspired to use some of it to make layouts. I'll post a peek at the goodies I've been (ahem) collecting tomorrow. It's midnight - past my bedtime!
